25 Years of community, crab cakes, and fresh Chesapeake Bay seafood dishes

In 1993, Woody (aka Peter Wood) decided that the little village of North East needed a seafood restaurant. On March 17 of that year Woody's Crab House opened its doors and quickly became a mainstay serving Chesapeake Bay Blue Crabs and dishes made from recipes handed down from local residents.

Serving only the best seafood and allowing patrons to throw their peanut shells on the floor made this restaurant a must visit place for its customers. Martha Stewart has even dined at Woody's!

In 2018, Woody's celebrated its 25th anniversary and is still owned and operated by Woody with the help of son in law, Chip and daughter, Rachel. About the only thing that has changed in 25 years is that the restaurant just keeps growing thanks to all of its loyal customers.

Woody's Crab House looks forward to the next 25 years of serving the best seafood in the Chesapeake Bay region. Be sure to stop in to enjoy one of their award winning crab cakes the next time you are in North East, Maryland.
